Hi! So I guess I put "fun" in quotes because I might have been a little sarcastic. Just kidding. It really was fun. Here are some pics of some stuff we did a couple of weeks ago.
First, Ambo and Austin came over and we decorated Halloween cookies.

Then we made these cute little ghost and pumpkin lanterns from mason jars, construction paper faces, and tissue paper. Then you put tea lights inside the jars. The kids had a lot of fun. Too bad you can see how messy my house is in all the pictures. I should have taken one of the finished product.

Then Sarah and Jared came over. Jared and Jason went to Priesthood session of conference, while us girls took the kids to a corn maze. Ah, yes. The corn maze. It was pretty taxing on all of us. They warn you at the beginning that is 1 1/2 hours but you don't really realize how long this can be until you're in there with 4 little kids and they just want to get out of there!!

So the weird thing is I didn't realize I had no decent picture of Blake, only the top of his head. I guess he wasn't in the picture taking mood. A lot of them are fuzzy. I'm not sure why.

So that's happy. Some of our other goings on: Jason is deer hunting (can't wait till it's over). And on Monday Aubrey had her 4 teeth in the bottom front pulled out. They are her baby teeth and the permanent teeth were coming in from behind. The dentist said they would never loosen on their own so they had to be pulled.

Hello! I have some good news. I haven't posted in a while because I thought Blake threw my camera away, but I found it the other day. We're good now! Here are some pics of Aubrey's b-day party.

And Aubrey's first day of school.

We've had an interesting month. Jason and I went four-wheeling up to Willard Peak, and of course I forgot to take pictures. We don't have too many with just Jason and I. It was fun. About a month ago we had to take Carter to the emergency room. He got stung on the cheek by a wasp. Apparently he's allergic! Poor little guy looked so miserable!

We got to do another fun thing this month. We went to a Salt Lake Bees game with Amber,Jeremy, and Austin. Well, it should have been fun, anyway. Maybe we'll try again when the kids are older!
So Aubrey's back in school and I am relishing this fact. She's starting 2nd grade and it won't be until she is in 4th that Carter will go too. That's a little too long for me.

Blake's been a lot of fun lately. He's managed to get all of his teeth at once but the first ones he got were his top molars. How crazy is that? Blake can never just do things normally.

I kinda feel like I'm jumping around a lot, but aren't our new pictures cute? Here are some more:
This was a learning experience! Carter fell asleep on the way to Ogden, so he was a ray of sunshine. I don't know why the girl only took a picture of Blake and not the other kids. I think she was a little flustered. But we like how they turned out.

P.S. to everyone: I wrote this post on July 1 and I didn't have time to mess with the pictures until now. So here it is, a little outdated but oh well.

Well ok. Yes, it's been a while. What a busy crazy month we have had! Lots of baptisms, baby blessings, birthdays, etc. And I keep forgetting to take pictures. Since I last posted Sarah and Jared returned from Texas, so that's happy. Maybe not for them but it is for us.

Let's see, what else? Oh yeah, I turned 29 yesterday. Ho hum. You think that's bad, wait till next year. That will be a tough one. Jason took us shopping and out to eat, he's such a gem. Aubrey will turn 7 next week, I can't believe I have a kid that old. She's here already critiquing my post and being a smarty pants. Here are some pics we took from one of our many fabulous trips to the park.

We are working on potty training Carter. It's going, but not going great. There have been a lot of accidents. But what can you do? When he decides to go, he will go. Here is a picture of Carter using his diaper as a scabbard for his "sword" (ruler). All this is happening while we are trying to get the kids to bed. Never a dull moment.
This was a lot of fun. The kids turned our back yard into a mud hole in a matter of minutes. I don't know how they do it. All three of them looked like this.

My boys really like their shades, especially Blake. Speaking of Blake, well I thought he would have teeth by now. But he doesn't. They keep getting closer and closer but still nothing. He's really loving dancing right now and mocking anything he sees his dad do. They have little games they play together, it's a crack up. We've been thinking about getting the speech therapist from the up to 3 program to come back to our house. He still isn't saying much and his communication skills aren't where they are supposed to be. Last fall and winter he had an occupational therapist to help with his swallowing and eating and drinking. They come to your house so the child is more comfortable, it's really nice but can sometimes be a hassle. We still haven't decided what to do.

Father's Day wasn't much fun for the dad in our house. Jason had gone to the chiropractor for the first time the day before. He was in a lot of pain, he didn't even go to church and I had sharing time in primary that day. That was a fun morning, it's difficult enough to get to church on time. Anyway, he's a lot better now. Well, I guess that's about it for now. Hope everyone's having a terrific day!

Hi ya'll! How is everyone? Yay! Kris is the new idol winner. Thank goodness! Adam has talent, but I think he's a shrieker, so he wasn't my favorite. Jason pretends not to like it but he really secretly does. He said Adam can go on broadway and Kris can make records. I think that sounds about right. Speaking of music, I added a totally awesome song to my playlist. It's called "One Day Like This". It's a cover but I think it's better than the original. So check it out. I also added some vintage Snow Patrol.
Hmmm, what else is going on? Well, Aubrey had her last soccer game last week. This is her and Carter with her trophy. Oh joy. Carter and cameras go about as well as Blake and computers. We're lucky he let me take his picture at all, smiling's out of the question. Aubrey scored another goal the Saturday before , but if you ask her she would say more. She thinks that if you kick towards the goal, it's a goal. Oh well. It was fun. I'm kind of sad it's over. Carter is acting like a holy terror! I don't know what I'm going to do with him. I remember Aubrey being similar at that age. But I'm sure it's worse this time around, he is a boy after all. Blake went to the doctor for a check-up this week. He got 4 shots, he wasn't happy. Here's Blake with his lawnmower, he loves it. If he's getting worked up over something and I don't know what to do, I just give him that crazy lawnmower and all is right with the world. Just want to say happy b-day to Jerembo on Sunday. I'm going to be 29 this year so that must mean that he's turning 30! GASP! I found this picture and wanted to add it. She actually fell asleep that way!

Whew! This blogging business is tough! Every time I get a minute to post something I think "well, I really should start dinner " or "Blake's going to be waking up from his nap soon. " Blake and computers are a bad combination. So anyway, what have we been up to? Not much, but it's been crazy at the same time. And when Jason got his first day off since April, (other than Sundays) we had to go to the cardiologist in Salt Lake. Of course you gotta do a little shopping while your down there. And so our bathroom is still not finished. It's frustrating--we are so close.
Oh, speaking of the cardiologist. Blake got an echocardiogram on Cinco de Mayo and he was sedated. It's basically an ultrasound of his heart. It's kind of funny to see how babies act when they first wake up from sedation. Anyway, Blake's heart looks good, they're a little concerned about his rhythm. Usually it's irregular and this time his heartrate was a little slow. He had to go home with a holter monitor for 24 hours, that's always fun.

Another thing we have been doing a lot of is soccer games. Aubrey started playing last month but a lot of the games were cancelled because of rain or snow. So with make-up games, we have been having three games a week plus practice. It can be tiring. But she's getting a lot better, she's got some hustle in her...when she wants. She scored a goal last Wednesday! I try to take pictures but I usually spend the whole time keeping Blake out of the other games. Carter is up to usual antics. You never know what's going to come out of his mouth. His favorite thing to say to visitors is "What are you doing at my house?" Just this morning I was changing his diaper (yes, we still use diapers) and dressing him. He always hates it when I use the wipes on his bum. So this particular morning he blurted out "Why do you TREAT me like this?" He was exasperated, it was hilarious.
Hey! Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there. Especially to my mom. She's a great lady.

Hi there! I hope everybody is doing well. I kind of just want to start a little background on us. Like I said before Jason and I were married in the Logan, UT temple about 9 years ago. We have three very energetic children that fill every waking minute of my life. Aubrey, Carter, and Blakely. More on Blake later. We lived in Richmond, UT until a little over a year ago, when we moved to Tremonton. Jason is the manager of the Big-0 Tires in Tremonton and hopes to have his own store someday soon. We bought a forty-year-old home that we have been remodeling...it's been a challenge to say the least. Our family has been awesome helping us.So...Blakely. It's kind of a long story but I will try to keep it short since everyone probably already knows it anyway. Blakely was born on March 15th, 2008. He was born with TAPVR (total anomalous pulmonary venous return). It's a heart defect, we didn't know he had it at the time so I guess you could say it was a shock. Anywho, he had open heart surgery at Primary Children's about 16 hours after he was born. We were there for about two weeks and so far so good. He did have a feeding tube for the first year of his life but it's out now and we hope to keep it that way. Blake is having a sedated echocardiogram on May 5th, so we'll know more about his heart then. If you want a more detailed explanation or if you have a question, you can e-mail us at jpeav@yahoo.com.Here a few pics from Easter egg hunts and celebrations. the kids had a great time. At the hunt on Saturday, Aubrey was too timid at first, Carter was too slow, and Blake didn't really care. But they all seemed to get the hang of it after a while. Well I guess I better wrap things up now, Sarah helped me set up this blog and I'm sure she'll think I'm being long-winded. But I just want to tell her thanks. I hope her and Jared have a great time in Dallas. We'll miss them but we love them and wish them the best of luck.
